Interplanetary Ship Lightwave3d

The S.S. Pathfinder is an interplanetary explorer with a crew of around 20.


I was inspired by designs I have seen over the last few years that hearken back to one of Isaac Asimov's book covers, the David “Lucky” Starr story called “Oceans of Venus”  said cover by Ray Feibush, which I have in my book collection. The Black Hole USS Palomino also influenced my inspiration for the design, I tried for a retro 1950s vibe.

Modelled in Lightwave 9.6, it has basic UV mapping
